1. Vacation [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Whether we view it as a remake or a reboot or a sequel, 2015’s Vacation becomes a weak film. It offers a handful of laughs but lacks much comedic zeal. Starring Ed Helms, Christina Applegate. Warner, $44.95, 11/3/2015.

2. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though the title might lead one to believe it’ll shoot solely for a super-young audience, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie offers a delight for all ages. Clever, wacky and fun, it becomes a charming and amusing animated adventure. Starring Kevin Hart, Ed Helms. Fox, $36.99, 9/12/2017.

3. The Hangover: Extreme Edition [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans who already own the original Blu-ray shouldn’t expect this 2010 “Extreme Edition” to give them reason to double dip; it’s the same disc with two minor new extras. If you don’t have the first release, I’d still steer you away from the “Extreme Edition” due to pricing. The original Blu-ray lists for $11 less than the “Extreme Edition”, and I don’t thi

4. The Hangover [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Probably the biggest sleeper hit of 2009, The Hangover turned into a monster smash and the biggest-grossing “R”-rated comedy of all-time. That doesn’t make it the funniest, though. The film boasts sporadic laughs but never becomes especially amusing. The Blu-ray provides excellent visuals, reasonably good audio, and an average collection of supplements.

5. We're The Millers [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: On the surface, We’re the Millers looks like a comedy winner, with a fun premise and good talent involved. Unfortunately, the movie rarely connects, as it mixes forgettable characters and gags in a slow, draggy package. The Blu-ray comes with good picture and audio as well as a mediocre set of bonus materials. Millers includes a few minor laughs but usua

7. The Hangover: Part II [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With $254 million in US grosses, The Hangover Part II seems likely to spawn The Hangover Part III. I can’t say I look forward to that event, but I don’t dread it either, as Part II continues the franchise in a reasonably satisfying manner. The Blu-ray provides very good picture and audio along with a handful of decent supplements. It’s a bit disappointin

8. The Lorax [Blu-Ray 3D] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An adaptation of a Dr. Seuss book, The Lorax comes with a good cast and an admirable message. As a film, though, it lacks consistency and fails to coalesce into anything particularly effective. Starring Danny DeVito, Zac Efron. Universal, $14.98, 8/7/2012.

10. The Hangover: Part III [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Most won’t agree, but I think the franchise goes out on top with The Hangover Part III. With a different focus and feel, the movie becomes the funniest of the bunch. The Blu-ray delivers excellent picture and audio but doesn’t boast a great roster of bonus materials. It’s too bad the disc skimps on extras, but the movie itself entertains. Starring Bradle
